You can buy almost anything for the Sony PSP online. You can buy Sony PSP games and movies. You can buy accessories and music. You can join websites that let you download unlimited music and movies for a one-time membership fee. You can also get the free updates from Sony online. These updates enhance your PSP allowing it to do more things all the time.
For example, when the Sony PSP first came out, it didn’t come with a web browser but was integrated during one of the free upgrades. You can buy Sony PSP UMD disks with either movies or games on them online. Wouldn’t it be great if Sony would put a movie on one side and a game on the other? Or even 2 movies or 2 games, one on each side. That was the nice thing about records and cassette tapes. You got something on both sides. It wouldn’t be nearly as painful paying for UMDs if there were two sides, with something on both.
It’s up to you to decide if you want to collect and buy Sony PSP movies on UMD disks or download them. You’ll probably find it is much cheaper to download the movies yourself, either from your DVDs or video files on your computer or downloaded straight from an online source. Although it is cheaper initially to do it this way, the expense comes with having to replenish your Memory Sticks once they fill up with the files you want to keep. Of course, you can upload files to your computer to make room for new ones but you’ll still want to back up those files.
